President Zardari to visit UAE from January 26-29

ISLAMABAD – President Asif Ali Zardari will undertake an official visit to the United Arab Emirates from 26-29 January 2026.

He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, the Foreign Office said in a press release on Monday. The delegation includes senior officials and advisors.

During the visit, the president will hold high-level meetings with UAE leadership to review the full spectrum of bilateral ties. These talks will cover trade, investment, and economic partnerships.

The discussions will also focus on defence and security cooperation. Additionally, people-to-people ties and cultural exchanges between the two countries will be prioritized.

Regional and international issues of mutual interest are expected to be part of the dialogue. Both sides aim to strengthen collaboration on global challenges.

The visit follows the recent official visit of the UAE President to Pakistan. This sequence of visits underscores the strong, brotherly ties between the two nations.

Officials said the visit reaffirms Pakistan and the UAE’s commitment to transforming their longstanding friendship into a mutually rewarding partnership. Economic and diplomatic cooperation will be strengthened.
